The Youth Ministry at Lees Summit Christian Church exists to provide a safe place for youth to discover the joy of following Christ. We all want to know that we are not alone on this journey of life. Here youth are invited to be their authentic selves and find the respect they deserve as blessed children of God.
Caring adults develop meaningful relationships with youth to accompany them on the journey. We know that the transition from adolescence to young adult is difficult, and we provide a supportive space for youth to ask the hard questions, to think for themselves, and learn a vocabulary of faith as they grow in their relationship with God and become who God is calling them to be.

Provide a place of love and acceptance

Empower youth to discover gifts and take on leadership roles in the life of the congregation
Youth Ministry Goals
The youth will experience these objectives through fellowship, worship, singing, discussion, group building, outreach and goofing off.
Each youth will encounter God through: exploring Scripture, wrestling with questions, engaging in discussion, sharing in prayer, and building community in the Body of Christ through fellowship.
