Color Their World

Looking for ways to better the world around them, the fifth and sixth grade Sunday School class generously opted to bless children at Hope House, The Ronald McDonald House and Children's Mercy Hospital with the gift of crayons.

"Crayons are the best therapeutic instrument helping children deal with stress. However due to germ concerns, once a box is opened, it cannot be shared. Therefore these institutions go through a lot of crayons," said Sunday School Teacher Gwen Phelps. "Their goal has grown to one million crayons! Lofty, but doable."

You can help by donating crayons (boxes of 8, 16 or 24) or cash donations in the collection box located in the narthex. Corporate sponsors are encouraged to participate as well.
